Broker Server Hosting

Managed Server Hosting for MT4 and MT5 Brokers

A broker’s server environment has to remain stable through market openings, platform updates, liquidity changes and day to day operations. EBS FinTech helps brokers plan, deploy and maintain the infrastructure behind MT4, MT5 and connected broker systems.

Built Around the Broker

Hosting is more than renting a server

The hosting location, server roles, network routes, backup design and access controls all affect how the trading environment behaves. We review these parts together, then define an operating setup that matches the broker’s platform, liquidity model and internal responsibilities.

Platform aware design

Server roles and capacity are planned around the actual MT4 or MT5 environment, rather than a generic cloud template.

Controlled access

Administrative access, remote connections and technical accounts are separated and documented according to the agreed operating model.

Ongoing operations

Monitoring, routine checks, planned maintenance and incident troubleshooting continue after the initial deployment.

Service Scope

What we host and maintain

The exact scope depends on the platform licence, deployment model and third party systems selected by the broker. The following areas can be included in a managed hosting project.

MT4 and MT5 server environments

  • Live, demo and test environments
  • Main, access, history and backup server planning where applicable
  • Operating system preparation and platform installation support
  • Capacity, disk space and resource monitoring

Network and connectivity

  • Hosting region and route assessment
  • Firewall rules, VPN access and IP allowlists
  • Bridge, Gateway, FIX and liquidity connection support
  • Connectivity checks with approved third party vendors

Monitoring and maintenance

  • Server availability and resource alerts
  • Service, log and storage checks
  • Planned platform and operating system maintenance
  • Incident review and troubleshooting support

Backup and recovery

  • Configuration and data backup planning
  • Backup retention and access review
  • Recovery procedures and responsibility mapping
  • Failover and recovery testing where supported

Broker side systems

  • CRM, client portal and reporting infrastructure
  • Broker APIs and approved integration services
  • EBSWare xTrader deployment environments
  • Web security and traffic controls where required

Access and change control

  • Role based technical access
  • Multi factor authentication where supported
  • Change records and maintenance windows
  • Rollback preparation for material changes
Deployment Options

Infrastructure selected for the workload

There is no single hosting design that suits every broker. We consider the trading platform, expected activity, client locations, liquidity connections, recovery objectives and budget before recommending an environment.

Cloud deployment

AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or Alibaba Cloud can be considered where they fit the platform and operating requirements.

Dedicated infrastructure

Dedicated servers or colocated environments may be more suitable where predictable performance, location or vendor requirements take priority.

Hybrid environment

Trading servers and broker applications can be placed in different environments when the separation is technically justified and properly documented.

Operating Process

From assessment to ongoing support

A clear handover matters as much as the initial build. Each stage defines what EBS FinTech manages, what remains with the broker and which items depend on third party providers.

Assessment

Review platform components, regions, connections, risks and existing infrastructure.

Architecture

Define server roles, access, monitoring, backup and recovery requirements.

Deployment

Prepare the environment, install approved components and document the setup.

Testing

Check access, connectivity, monitoring, backup and agreed recovery procedures.

Operations

Carry out routine maintenance, respond to alerts and coordinate technical issues.

Clear Responsibilities

Support without blurred boundaries

EBS FinTech provides technical infrastructure, deployment and operational support. We do not operate as a broker, receive client funds or make trading decisions.

Platform licences, cloud services, data centres, liquidity accounts, Bridges, Gateways and other third party products remain subject to their respective providers. Response targets, support hours and recovery objectives are defined in the applicable service agreement. Resolution time may depend on third party access and cooperation.

Security controls can support a broker’s internal governance and audit requirements, but they do not by themselves provide regulatory approval or certification.

Frequently Asked Questions

Server hosting questions

More general questions about platforms, licensing and operations are available in the EBS FinTech FAQ.

Do you provide both MT4 and MT5 server hosting?

Yes. EBS FinTech supports existing MT4 environments and new or existing MT5 environments. The available server components and deployment scope depend on the broker’s licence and platform configuration.

Can you take over an existing server environment?

Yes. We first review the current topology, access, versions, integrations, backups and known issues. A takeover plan is then agreed before operational responsibility changes.

Do you guarantee a fixed uptime level?

Availability depends on the selected infrastructure, platform architecture and third party services. Any uptime target, support window or response target is set out in the applicable service agreement rather than assumed from this page.

Can you support Bridge and liquidity connections?

Yes. Hosting can be coordinated with Bridge, Gateway, FIX and LP connectivity work. See our Liquidity, Connectivity & Aggregation service for the integration scope.

Can the environment be deployed in a specific region?

Region selection depends on the platform, liquidity endpoints, client locations, provider availability and regulatory or data requirements. We assess these factors before recommending a location.

Do you help with backup and disaster recovery?

Yes. We can support backup planning, recovery procedures, access server deployment and failover testing where the platform and selected infrastructure allow it. Read our guide to MT5 disaster recovery best practices.
